Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Hi folks. Spent the past 24 hours in bed with flu. A light, low carb diet helped yesterday's high BG drop down to a much better 4.6 this morning. Still feeling rough though. Have a good day folks.

6.2 this morning at 8am...not impressed. looks like my steroid spike is a back to wind me up at levels of 9.5 or so over the past couple of days...a bit down actually.

Keep your pecker up Paul lad

Don't let the bar stewards get you down

A shaky 4.6 fbg. A tad too much insulin before tea last night. :(

Hi @ickihun. That's a lower than normal level for you hun. Hence the shakiness. Too low is pretty unpleasant, yeah. Hope you're ok now. Take care. X

Thanks @Alisonjane10 my wonderful 8yr old helped me treat my hypo and then i've struggled between hyper and nearly another hypo. God i've really took the lchf diet for granted. I forgot how temperamental carbs can be with insulin. The lchf life is a sweet smelling one. :)

Depression kicked me to the floor the last couple of days so never even tested...
However, 4.4 this morning :-)
