Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Mine was 5.8 this afternoon, as i'm on nights, but on the plus side, had my check up last week, I started at 8.5 averaged over 3 months when I was diagnosed last year, now got it down to 6.5, also nearly lost two stone, so I'm pleased, but asked if I can change to slow release metformin instead of normal metformin.

Hi I know I'm late today!
four hours good sleep woke at 0345 bg = 4.4, feet jumpy, had two small pieces of brie.
Fasting bg @ 0725 = 5.1 yippee yippee.
Then went to play East Bunny chocolate eggs for grand kids.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Superb @scouse13. Much better feeling than a close hyper after treating a hyper. Isn't it?

Hi there everybody
Resisted testing blood through the night (saving test strips).
fbg = 6.0 @ 0615
looking quite reasonable, as I reduce meds slightly last night!
Do have a good day everybody.

morning all 8.3 this morning :( been low carb now for 5 weeks but still struggling to get my levels to even out can only guess something to do with the sleeping problems I've been having levels did drop to 5.5 before went to bed

8.8

Lunch levels were fine, so I risked a creme egg. I felt dreadful until I'd drunk lots of water and been for a 5 mile walk! Safe to say I won't be doing that again. Sighs deeply - it's definitely the end of a long term, stable relationship, but one that is not good for me.
