Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Fbg 7.8 as I forgot to do evening insulin. It's still a good base but floating carbs in my system and maybe insulin as my injections only last 8hrs. Maybe no insulin then!
I'm very hopeful and excited about joining my walking clubs in sept/oct.
Changes are coming my way again but hoping all positive. :) :) :)

4.6 @ 07:15
I visited my diabetic nurse this morning to get an independent measurement from the practices recently hospital verified meter.
Practices meter 4.9 @ 10.05
Wavesense Jazz 5.2 @ 10.05
Contour XT 4.5 @ 10.05
So in my case there is an average variance of 3.5 between the meters I have. From my perspective I am going to assume a potential difference in the results I get of 0.4 to cover inaccuracies. I have now be given a OneTouch Select Plus, so will be interesting to see what this reads.

11.2 again this morning, very worried over high reading. Only went to 10 2 hours after breakfast yesterday. About 6 hrs after my lunch before tea, it was 7.7.

4.4 flippin amazing, and I have no idea why fairly standard day, only difference was I had been up and walking around for 20 minutes as opposed to straight away.
In all my years of being prediabetic I think this is my lowest reading ever!!

That's fantastic! I'm so pleased for you (and slightly jealous)
