5.3 this morning at 7:30. And I thought I had been good yesterday. Just goes to show it won't let you relax!!!
'morning all! I was a little apprehensive last night in deciding how much to reduce the Lantus so I decreased by only one unit to seven. Lo and behold, 5.1 this lovely sunny morning. I'm relieved if not happy!
Reheated potato does not affect my bgs. Not everyone thou. Have a try.6.7 today. I have come to the conclusion that my problem is potatoes! I always indulge (though no more than 4 small potatoes) when I'm at the parents on a Sunday night. And because of that my sugars always seem to be up. Grrr!
Anyway off to my first appointment at the diabetic clinic today. We shall see what they say. Lord knows anything is better than my GP - who have given me sweet nothing as regards advice.
Enough of my rant!
Yes, I realise I shouldn't complain, but after a run of less than 5 it feels like a smack on the back of the head especially after relatively low carbs yesterday.Perfectly good! The normal range is between 4 and 7!
I don't eat potatoes, or rice or pasta either..6.2 isn't high. Normal range for fasting is 4-7.
Eat new potatoes as they have low glycemic index.
Sorry an earlier poster said he does, not you!I don't eat potatoes, or rice or pasta either..
Instead of the Green Post reply at the bottom of the screen, use the reply option at the end of the specific post to avoid confusion, then everyone will know who you are responding to.Sorry an earlier poster said he does, not you!
