she has not retired but does not put in the whole information in this thread as this thread is only for fasting blood glucose...not really for private or individual messages

Fbg 4.5 this morning :) :) :) GP and endocrologist are happy with blood test results hba1c 69 to 59 and my weight loss. 2 medics down just cardiologist tomorrow to go. If I get 3 out of 3 I'll shout in the streets! Ha ha

In hospital (in Australia) - day 3 after double knee replacement on Tuesday. Fasting at 6am was 4.9 - night nurse totally panicked - wouldn't let me get up to go to the loo and immediately brought me 6 Jatz crackers with cheese (think in UK - Ritz are the equivalent). By breakfast 2 hours later - surprise surprise, I'd risen to 9.7. Now 2 hours after a breakfast of cheese and tomato omelette (and insulin) it's back to 7.7. Will see what lunchtime brings..........

Good luck with you bg readings in hospital. Up here in the northern hemisphere it's quite difficult to keep to a low carb diet whilst being treated. Take care
