Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.6 for me @ 05:30
That is high for me but in what is a normal range as I understand it ?

Still totally confusing taking these readings everyday, but knowing it all comes down to what my HbA1c will be. ( I hate the unknown and the anticipation)

Have about 3 weeks until my 3 month anniversary and next blood test .

Off to the gym now with no breakfast. I am trying IF 16:8 over the weekend and today.
You're doing great, keep it up:)

Where is @PenfoldAPD ? You're really missed. I hope you're ok?

Very kind of you :) had some 'stuff' going on so needed to deal with that and just get through each day. Work stuff, not health stuff. BG's have been ok, 6's and a few 5's - have been feeling well.

I#ll be back on the forum next week!

I hope you speak the Gaelic.

It's summer Janet just not as we know it.

Very strange folk those Gaelic speakers..... my husband's gt granny's first language was Gaelic. He can speak it too - so I'm speaking from experience

Friday: 5.6 at 5:30 am
Today: 5:8 at 5:50 am

My GP sorted my problems out, increased my Spiriva Respimat to two x two inhalations twice a day to help with my breathing through the night.

He is also making / made an appointment for me to see a pulmonary specialist at the hospital up the road.

He said that being in the fasting sixes s in the morning was within the good reading boundaries, and not to stress out over it.
