Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

8.0! Diagnosed 2013. Metformin. Been feeling very unwell over the last 3 days, and at one point had a 13.5 reading. So today, steered well clear of the carbs, skipped lunch, and drank water instead of fruit juice. Went out for a long walk with my son's dog, and reading before evening meal...5.5! Yeah! (I know skipping lunch is wrong :-/ )

Hi folks. Busy day today & this is the first opportunity I've had to get online. FBG was 5.2 this morning. Stayed in the low 5's all day, even after eating. Gotta be fine with that. Had a decent size portion of ice cream after dinner tonight. So, it'll be interesting to see what my FBG will be tomorrow morning as its a long time since I had Ben & Jerrys.
