OK, so 6.4 tested fasting 12 hours since my last meal late last night but I have been up for 6 hours. Before dinner yesterday BG was 4.7 (first sub-5 for ages) and that was a few hours after eating half the bread in a BA ham and cheese sandwich - about 10g carbs (I left the accompanying lemon sugar coated bun!). In the evening we had a fantastic meal and I had more carbs in the form of tomato bread with local dry cure ham, plus a steak and a few small potatoes, followed by cheese. Drank lots (a bit too much!) excellent red wine. Back to the hotel before bed and BG was only 5.3 - maybe down to the wine?

Mon 18/5 - 4.7
Sun 17/5 - 3.9
Sat 16/5 - 4.0

Can't complain about those readings even though my carb control isn't as tight as it should be.

No fasting or bed time figures as I've depleted my supply of testing strips. :(

Pick up prescription later. :)

Have a feeling they would have been good figures too! LOL

6.1 again this morning. Yesterday a storm blew in, lots of broken tree limbs, and then it fell to minus temperatures overnight. When looking at things this morning, it's really hard to believe that around a week ago, it was +27c for a day.

Bed time was over an hour into this morning. Note to self - could do better. ;)
