7.2 mmol / L this morning.
6.8 mmol / L at bed time.

Bed at around midnight and up again after 9 hours. 9 hours such luxury! I suspect it was too long as woke up and was still cream crackered!

Base was digestives & butter
Cheesecake topping was mascarpone cheese + Aldi white chocolate + cream
Left to set in fridge overnight.

I thought BG would just continue to rise until a meal brought a release of insulin... I need to read up more on the physiology of the dawn phenomenon.

6.4 this morning, which I think is my worst ever recorded fasting. I was at an all day party yesterday and ate mostly whatever I wanted - so this is the not too unsurprising result. I was only 5.8 last night but I guess that was the red wine keeping it down.

The moral of this is that my mostly good morning readings (usually between 4.7 and 5.2) are due to me mostly being careful about what I eat. Back to the straight and narrow for me then!

Morning all,
5.7 fasting today, seems to be stable under six
Good result, as I experimented late yesterday evening with small Pukka S&K, plus big handful of home roast peanuts and pint of Lidl diet coke on ice;-)
