Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

On this lovely bright start to the day in Exeter Devon my fasting BS were 5.6 @ 07:20 ️

5.4 last night. I thought it would be higher because I had some dairy free cheese and a slice of ham when I got home. Ended up covering a youth group for a friend who has broken there wrist

6.4 fasting. Back down in saga central today where it is not illegal to smile or acknowledge someone as you pass them.

Nice sunny day so lunchbreak will have to be a seaside walk or run. That'll teach them!

A slightly disappointing 6.2, as it's one of my early mornings, I was hoping for something in the 5ish zone. I just wonder if my new bedtime drink, a looseleaf green tea with orange peel and cinnamon, actually contains sugar - it smells, but doesn't taste, sweet.
