mine was 4.8 this morning,
had my hba1c done on tuesday which came back at 7.2 which is better than the 10.8 it shot up to in november, my 14 day average is 5.3 and ive lost 4kg in 3 months so happy at the mo

6.1 this morning after getting down to the low 5's in the previous few days. Must have been the Indian takeaway last night!

4.9 this morning. My levels seem to be back down after a bit of a blip caused by an infection that has been knocked on the head by antibiotics.

Last posted on here on Feb 20th, and since then have been Atkinsing quite strictly, even on a meal out a few days ago.

Since 20th I have had one 5.9; all the others have been below 5.4, including below 5 for the last 4 days. I'm pleased with that.

Next HbA1c is March 17th - we shall find out if the last month is really the most important, as there has been Christmas and my bread-&-wine lapse between my last one on Dec 16th and my next one!

Yesterday lunchtime I had a little non-Atkins treat - a bacon sandwich made with 2 thinnish slices of wholemeal multi-seed, well buttered, and two nice rashers of back bacon (fat left on, of course! ).

I forgot to test before I started but I was probably no higher than 5 - 4.9 on waking and a 2-egg omelette for breakfast, so nothing to push me up.

45 mins after bacon sarnie - 5.4;
I hour after eating - 5.9;
2 hours after - 4.9.

I'm very pleased with that; obviously the fat kept me from spiking too high. I can't do it very often, though, or things start creeping up again.

4.7 this morning. I had a chicken salad for supper.

8.3 fasting today about as low as I have managed in the morning I have had the odd 7 at night. 8 weeks after diagnosis which was at BS 12 in the morning so on its way down

7.3 this morning and the last two evenings both 6.4 and 6.2 my first 6s Whoohoo!!!!!
fasting Mornings seem to be my problem. But the reradings are going down 8 weeks from diagnoses at 12.0. Lowcarbing about 60-70 carbs. Gotta say it works for me.
