Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

5.3 pre breakfast, no exotic trees in my garden but do have 2 rather large Manchester Poplar trees, which we are having pollarded this Month. So sad to see them shortened but the are getting a little large.
 
I expected my level to be high this am as had a ham sandwich for supper but it surprised me by being 6.6...never will understand this diabetes!!
 
5.1 before dinner
5.2 after
5.7 fasting
I was awake since 5 and did the test at 7 so don't know if that was the reason for high reading this morning.
Weekend is here finally
 
6.8 pre dinner and @ 2hours late 8.0.

This is the THIRD time in the last week that it's happened (small spike) so I went for a short (but brisk) walk for 20 minutes immediately post that reading and tested again.

Then back to to 6.5. Seems I have this one licked as I finally know how to control the dinner readings

6 this morning which after my indulgent Indian meal and pain all night I'll take. I have fibromyalgia and I'm starting to think that the Metformin is making it play up.

Thanks. Going to reduce from 3 to 2 and see if that has any effect. My afternoon levels have been in low 4s and high threes on 3 and that is too low for me as I feel really cold and panicky below 4.6
 
6.1,I have lost the fives,dont know why.
Connie coming to Spain in Feb,one hours drive north from Valencia,my daughters villa ,Alcossebree,hope to get some sun.
