In your shoes I would not really be worried but I would take it as a warning to perhaps not overdo it on carbs.

5.2 this morning but I am not surprised after a seriously naughty Indian takeaway last night. I estimated about 1800 calories, no rice but 1 chapati. It was gorgeous and took me from 3.8 before to a maximum of 5.8 2 hours afterwards, so OK on a very occasional basis I guess. Down to 4.8 just before bed.

4.6 pre breakfast, off to Manchester this evening to see John Bishop, should be a laugh

5.3 this morning
Was 4.5 pre dinner last night , 5 after 2 hrs, 4.7 at 3hrs, 5.2 at bed ( after my homemade hot chocolate) and a square of cheese- happy with those !

4.0 for me again this morning.

I had another 6 last night, which I'm not liking. Twice this week, when previously it had been months ago. Hmmmmmm. Last night was after a dinner I've had several times now, with the only difference being a couple of Tesco Low Calorie Lemonades. So, a little investigation required here I think. I'm not scared by the numbers, which are still fine; more bothered by not being able to explain them, definitely.

I am trying to increase my carbs a bit, both to expand my lifestyle choices, in the wider world, and to address my dropping weight again. There is no way on this earth I can go much below my current 49kg and be as healthy as I want to be. At that, I know I'm on a BMI of 19.1, so still within the healthy weight category, but I'm moving out of the "seriously trim and feeling great" into the "seriously trim and getting a bit scraggy" (in my mind probably) category.

Hey ho. It's all a game.
