Today was a 3.7 for me. Nicely in range, so that’s fine.

6.3 this morning. Dr appointment first thing tomorrow morning. Get to find out my test results from the previous week.

Image from my security camera......Guess fall is now over..... -8C right now.

We're pretty harty here. I've driven in blizzards before, snow tires, lights on, and go slow. It's not uncommon to have 10-20cm dump on us in a single 24 hour period. My estimate was about 3-4cm out there right now.

Placed my wife's van in the garage, cleaned things up a bit in the driveway. warmed up to -5C, still a wicked wind out there stirring things up. Little pre-mature, but I plugged the car in anyway. Timer goes off at 5am, I leave around 7am each weekday morning.

Here's a capture from last winter.... closer to Christmas. Hard to tell from the angle of the camera, but the drift I'm cutting through with the snowblower is just over knee height. The mouth auger at the front of the snowblower is about 50cm in height.

Spot on five this morning, down to 4.7 pre dinner this evening and back to 5 2 hrs after, not a bad day in all!

Think my nasty 11 this morning was caused by a bowl of chocolate mug cake with cream...am cross with myself. I so fancied a treat. Guess it put my carbs just a bit too high :(
We ALL have to have a treat now and again and as long as it IS a treat I'm sure you won't have done too much damage....don't be too hard on yourself - from what I'm reading in these 5 or so pages of posts I've read here you are doing GREAT!

6.2 am surprised as was eating diabetic chocolates last eve bought for me for my birthday and wow they made my tummy felly yacky as do not usually eat :(
It could also have been the sweetener. The Thornton's ones inform you not to eat too many as the maltitol? sweetener can have a laxative effect on some people - I have found though that that is the best limiting factor of ALL time - I CANNOT or should I say DARE not overindulge ;)

Well it was very hot here yesterday, 43c. Beat the airconditioning sensless. Blood sugar up a bit this morning 7.1. Highest reading for 10 days. Not worried will get it back down during the day.

Yep, you sure copped it. Had a decaf coffee this morning (1st coffee in many many months) with three dollops of thick cream.

At 2 hours post brekkie, it was 8.7 (after FS of 6.6) so went for a very short walk for no more than 5 minutes. Tested again and it's back to 7.9 Go figure.
