Maybe you do, but I don't!When was your last meal before your fasting count at miday? It is generally not a good idea to go too long without food. You only get more hungry and overeat/eat the wrong food as a result when you do have a meal. Especially breakfast should not be missed

Nope. I'm on a low carb high fat diet. I don't feel hungry ever, at least not ravenous, uncontrollable hunger. Just before lunch today my stomach was growling quite loudly, but I didn't feel hungry. In fact, I went for a half hour walk before eating my lunch. I don't have any "wrong things" to eat, like a Black Forest cake stashed in the back of the fridge, so I'm not worried about that.You do not go hungry if you go too long between meals or you do not overeat/eat the wrong thing when you do get too hungry?

Can you point me in the direction of te low carb choccy cake recipe please?6.4 this am I decided to make a low carb chocolate cake yesterday recipe found on this forum it was simply delicious and had some for my supper and as you can see levels dropped.....bet wiegth goes up though laughs
The term fasting assumes you had nothing to eat in the previous 8-10 hours, so normally it is only used for the reading one takes first thing in the morning.I wasn't so much fasting as waiting for my wife to return home with the fish. I had 2 boiled eggs for breakfast.

As the name suggests sweet and sour sauce is not the best choice for a diabetic to make as it contains sugar and usually bids of pineapple (in syrup?).

Lots of carbs in the crumb coating6.4 I had fish fingers last night,and went to bed at 7.2 ,wont have them again,thought they would be ok.

Maybe because you eat them with cheese and butter?Just shows we are all different, I have cream crackers every now and then with butter and cheese, never sends me more than 1 point higher after 2 hrs.

That's when you are burning body fat isn't it?Well I started off at no more than 20 g of carb a day...by day 3 I was in ketosis. I buy ketostix that test keytones in your urine. They are approx £6 a tub of 50 but I cut mine in half so get 100. I also have a borrowed blood keytone meter that is much more accurate...then after 6 weeks or so I didn't need to test anymore really. I could just "feel" the fact I was in ketosis. You also get a feeling in the back of your mouth. Hard to describe....more energy. Better sleep alert ect. Feeling of well being not to mention weight loss fast weight loss too in my case
Yes. Your body uses up the glycogen stores first then starts to use fat stores instead. I dropped to 20 g of carbs a day. Then upped them v slowly to 45 g a day. That keeps me in ketosis.That's when you are burning body fat isn't it?
