I'm late on parade too.....but back with my new meter! Fasting was 5.6 after a bedtime if the same. Really need a good catch up with you all too

I have digital scales in the bathroom.
I went to the surgery a few months back and their old fashioned but good quality spring type bathroom scales had me as seven pounds heavier.
Obviously theirs are wrong.
Weighed myself on my daughters cheap spring scales they read exactly the same as the surgeries!
Mine, thankfully, are spot on with the ones at the surgery

Mine read 0.4kg higher than the surgery after taking into account clothes, so I weighed myself at home immediately after having been weighed at the surgery in the same clothes. So if the surgery scales are more accurate, which is likely, I can claim to be about a pound lighter than I have been :D

My spring scales are about the same as two out of three of my main hospitals and the same as my GP's. I suppose I am lucky in that way.

Even thought about replacing the digital scales with some analogue ones myself.

Don't forget clothes of course!

Just for interest: your two hours after, after lunch finished or when lunch started.... I ask, as I'm a slow eater and dinner can take 30 mins.... cheers Hj

2 hours after lunch finished.

The most accurate way is 2 hours after first bite. I have always done this, and this is the advice normally given on the forum. I believe the thinking is that digestion begins immediately we start to eat, not after we have finished. Occasionally this may be difficult, for example if you have 2 or 3 courses with a gap between the courses.

Before tea 9.3 had soup for lunch with one small slice of burgen bread and some blueberries. Just finished my friends bridegroom bear
He's so cute.. :) They will love him...

Oh, oh..... :( But, surely, it's like our meters - it's the difference in the numbers that you're interested in, not really the numbers themselves... I'm sure that's what BlueTit said... :)
