Hi Kim

No it's not racing, I'm just conscious of it pumping. I'm pretty sure it's the coffee - I do normally drink decaf after midday, I need to get some decent decaf to put in the cafetiere as I need something to put my cream in ...

I never do a bedtime reading.

It sounds revolting But I will try at some point but am calorie restricted at the moment.

It does doesn't it vit90. But give it a go when you're ready. Maybe start with 1 teaspoon of butter and coconut oil then work your way up to whatever you feel comfortable with.

The very thought of that is making me feel sick...

Painful, hope it can be cleared wth antibot.

I could never afford them (implants) so it's partial denture and gaps for me. Few thousand apiece aren't they?

Several thousand yes. I'm hoping that I can get away with one implant and two teeth attached in a mini bridge but dentist said I may need two implants as I've two teeth missing now and I grind my teeth badly which puts too much force on just one implant. Dentures are an option and I may get away with a bridge if my top dodgy tooth needs to go too. I developed a choking anxiety with my panic disorder so didn't go for years so now reaping that effect of chronic anxiety. I think they offer finance deals so I'll just think of it like a new car payment scheme.

If you don't start humming this song after reading this you're not human (or you've never heard of the waterboys)..........

........."I saw the crescent

You saw the whole of the moon

The whole of the moon"

Weehhheeeee!

My favourite band.

Don't worry I think it was meant as a joke

You make your own yoghurt? How? I know there are 'starters' but no idea how or what? I prefer goat's products, could I use goat's milk? I like it 'sour' too... Thanks JTL...

Hi No problem making it with goats' milk. It tastes much better . Just add one spoon of milk powder to the mix if you like it thick and "greek" style.
Cheers

Hope your move is going well and your settling in to your new home
Thanks loulou everything went really well on the day. Just been really busy getting the old place ready to handover and unpacking and sorting out the new place. Good exercise

Good morning. And it is with all the sunshine and an eclipse. 6.4 this morning and 5.7 before a meal. Yoo hoo.

We had a lot of crows appear from nowhere as well but these were going mental! We have a small wooded area next to our bungalow and it was full of the **** things.reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock film The Birds. They all disappeared after the eclipse

Hmmm yes I think perhaps you are being a little over sensitive. Most of us on here are well aware that with a few exceptions it is our lifestyle that has got us where we are today. One of the ways we deal with it is with a bit of black humour. As a health care worker you should should know all about black humour. A lot of us on here are also in the medical profession, I have been for 25 years, and to some extent it's the long hours, no meal breaks or eating on the run, stress, and all the other factors that contribute to a poor diet that has helped us along the road to diabetes. Lets face it who hasn't had a choccy bar to stave off the hunger when you don't get a break until late afternoon? I don't think any of us would have found pasha' s remark in the least bit offensive. He was not saying you inflict your lifestyle on anyone else, he was just having some lighthearted banter with you. Nobody on here would condemn anyone else for their way of life, all they try to do is help, encourage and jolly someone along.

Alpro soya yoghurts are good...the plain, plain with almond or plain with coconut. Carbs LOW too
Any alpro yoghurts are nice the strawberry and rhubarb can be a bit sweet. I eat anyone of them except for the nut or coconut ones.
