sorry to hear about the pain, Allie. Hope the meds help and ditching the coffee.

5.5 for me this morning when I was rudely awakened by phone at 7.20 am, by BT who were coming to repair phone fault despite us cancelling callout
I was funny at bed last night- ate my half apple on 5.1, then dropped to below 4.9. Felt odd so retested and was 5.6 so I suspect my liver lent a hand and did a good job overnight. Thanks liver.

Happy Friday everyone... Today I have the day off - just feel I need a me day.

6.5 this morning

@alliebee take care of yourself today and stay wrapped up warm

I had a bad morning today. My fasting was 6, then I had a bad tummy all morning. I was 7.4 after my normal yogurt breakfast and stayed in the 7's for 3 hours. I was a high 6.1 before lunch and an horrendous 7.9 after. Happily things got better after that, and I was back to normal before tea. It just shows what can happen if your body is out of sorts.

I'm off on another jaunt for a week tomorrow - spot of bird watching and photography hopefully, up in the Morecambe Bay area. We go every November. There is a weak Wifi signal where we stay, and a good phone signal normally, so I hope to be able to keep in touch.

Be good everyone.

Hope you settle down now Bluetit, fingers crossed. Have a lovely break and check-in when you can!

Hope you felt better soon. Bring warm clothes and waterproofs as cold and wet . ( I just up toad in Kendal and put from faces the bay, thankfully sheltered by a big hill)

Tummy all better now. Goodness knows what I ate that caused it. Most unlike me to have tummy troubles.

Thermals, big sweaters, waterproofs all packed! Even Lola the dog's waterproof coat is packed! The forecast is pretty dire, but as someone said, there is no such thing as bad weather if you are wearing the right clothes. ;)

Getting great readings here Mike well done you

Thanks Alliebee :) Went to 7.0 after one hour and 7.8 @ 2 hours

Now 7.4 at 2.5 hours so it will do the usual and drop back. If I steer clear of anything over 8.0, I'll be happy enough with that :)
