Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

7.3 feel really weird now though. Bought new porridge /berry bars last night. Ate one for breakfast. 2 hrs later 16.2!!! Now I feel light headed spaced out and bit shaky!! Plus I'm at work!!

Did you keep the wrapper.... what was in the bar carb wise?
 
Not sure hankjam. It was a quick grab of one as I was going out front door to catch bus to work. I'll have to check tonight. I love porridge and BG is good after eating it. Feel idiot for not double checking before buying it. Give them to non diabetic sister :)
 
Don't worry mandigo it won't. Never felt like this before and had high readings, rarely, before. Feelings slowly subsiding
 
7.3 this morning after a scary 9.1 two hours after a late dinner last night, which was 5.8 before dinner. Went to bed half an hour after that 9.1 reading. Dinner wasn't at all carby but probably a fair amount of protein.

Done nothing different.
Doing great in the fives skimming the fours and then that!

I've had to changed my working schedule, and as a result I'm eating sometimes very late.
I tend to fall asleep soon after, net result, higher fasting levels......I'm working to fix this.

Thanks the trip was good, currently fighting a very stubborn ear infection as well as the flu even though I've had Jab...
Let's hope tomorrow's reading is back in range.
