No, you shouldn't hand your your certificate back. But that's just my opinion, not legal advice. :meh:
Hi there, I quote from back of my own Med Exempt Cert letter. Amongst others it says: "You can use your certificate until it expires, even if your medical condition changes."
Assuming that all certificates are the same for all eligible diabetics, you should have the same at the back of the cover letter they sent yours with, so just check:-)

Sorry it's late but have just got back from my grand daughters 18th
This morning I was 4.6 it's becoming a habit.
To my amazement after eating all the wrong things including cup cakes birthday cake hotdog and spuds ( only 2) my readings 2hrs on 4.7 ???? Don't know what's going on.
 
4.7 this morning up again with silly chest, just taken both reliever pumps and going to try to get more sleep before ringing asthma nurse later. This is driving me mad:mad:. Sorry about the moan.
