Ultrasound scan?

I had a letter come through for an ultrasound after being diagnosed t2 has anyone else had one and if so could you tell me what to expect please x

Might be for a kidney or liver scan, thats all I can think of. Ring the surgery and ask.

I had a Echocardiogram last year which is similar to the Ultrasound scan that pregnant women have, it's completely painless and they just rub a lubricating jelly on the skin and move the hand-held scanner over the area, if you want they'll let you view the scan on the screen.
