I was diagnosed with diabetes at xmas, although it was orginally thought that I was type 1 as I had extremely high blood sugar levels, all the tests came back negative.
Which meant that I was type 2, I was originally but on gliclazide, but I have been taken off this as it was dropping my sugar levels too loo. But what is concerning me is that I am still losing weight, I was 10st 13 at begining of the year and I am now currently 10st 4
A typical day I will eat the following
Breakfast 50g of porridge and a black coffee
Lunch Salad or Soup with some chicken drumsticks
Tea Breaded Fish with some vegetables and some greek yoghurt for pudding.
I will have cups of tea and coffee between meals and snack on various forms of nuts.
I believe this is healthly but not 100% sure if it enough, I have thought about perhaps looking at trying protein shakes to bulk my meals up.
But any thoughts and ideas appreciated.
