Unsocialable people at greater risk of Type 2!

I think childhood stress of dealing with 2 disfunctional parents caused my diabetes and food to keep me quiet! I was told recently.

Let's all just put it down to our sense of social responsiblity and not wanting to infect anyone with our 'disease'.

I would like to infect Jeremy Hunt. Is that wrong?

All this "togetherness" bantering has made me happy to have discovered this Forum - that's the activity part I would say!! Such a good chuckle, the Hubby was wondering if I was online with that boyfriend again (a reference to my very first post on the Forum!)!! Cheers All/L

When I had diabetes symptoms ar 6yr old I had a huge family (cousins) friends in my street who went to local school and friends at my catholic school. One close sister and 2 close cousins.
Nope. Even then I had a good social bunch around me.
I was only one chubby. Ran together, cycled together and skipped together.
