I would like to ask if anyone has tried or heard of the Vedda Blood Sugar Remedy supposedly about Sri Lankan recipes, from a place where they say the big D doesn't exist.

Interesting and plausible...but...
I lived in Sri Lanka for many years as a kid. The Veddahs are a jungle people, largely considered wild and uneducated, modern prejudices as always. Relatively few Veddhas left as their home jungles are exploited. Ditto animals. That they have strategies for medicating is no surprise to me. Just curious but always cautious.
