Very Low Blood Sugars, Not Increasing With Carbs

usually fatty deposits (lipomas) dont cause pain unless nerve endings near. surprised at golf ball size. if its more of a sciatica type pain TENS machine may prove very useful (for day time and short time after usage). dr/pain management clinic could prescribe otherwise can buy overcounter from most chemists or grab on amazon they vary in price considerably, i used to use £20 one til nhs replaced it very little difference between the two. i'd try push for referral to pain management clinic if its effecting you fairly often.

I woken up at 1:30am screaming in pain, had to ring 999, and amazingly diazapam really helped but now I'm in hospital I'm on 3x10 Ormorth which is helping, but still in bad pain, I've had Bloods and will be having scans, they think it coup be DVP or a blood clot. But Addersons can make pain wores.

sorry to hear. dvp not heard of presume dvt? hopefully you'll get the scans and results will be fast. your in the place to deal with it kind regards. ps glad that you've now access to pain meds which are helping :)

Sorry, It was a typo as meant dvt. Some good news, it is a disc herniation 3rd to 4th intervertebral space, leading to sciatica, but because of the pain and stress, I went into an adrenal crisis, my BG dropped to 1.3! so I needed a 100ml intramuscular cortisol injection, plus a glucagon injection, then with IV diazepam (felt amazing :) and lots of Oramorph, I was so much better. A&E was amazingly fast; within 15 minutes, I had 30ml of Oramorph, and about 10 minutes more, I had the cortisol and glucagon, not too long after that I think about an hour, I had a dye injection and then a CT scan of my lower back and leg.

The relief I felt after being treated and being told what the scan showed was such a relief. I think I was crying.
My left thigh was 115mm bigger in circumference than my right one, and 2C hotter, which the Dr said it was from being locked in compression and having spasms, which is why the diazepam worked so well, after the IVs. It went back down by half in just 5 minutes, and back to normal later that night

Now I'm back home with my cat :)
But this has me thinking, is the rest of my life going to be spent having adrenal crises? As I've had two in the last 3–4 weeks alone, and I now understand my BG going high and low is directly related to my cortisol levels.
When I'm awake and properly taking my hydrocrtisone my BG stays around 5-6 between meals, but on waking it's under 3 and lower, and as high at 15 after eating Batchellors Veg cup a soup, Also, the Endocrine Dr confirmed I have diabetes, and I have an appointment with the diabetic nurse on the 16th, but none has explained anything to me apart from saying I'm diabetic, and gastric diabetes, but when I've looked that up it only woman that get it, and I'm sure I'm a man :)

I have a head MRI in about 2 weeks, as they are 90% certain I have a benign pituitary tumour.

@EllieM That article is interesting as the signs it talks about I have all of them.
