Over these last three years I am amazed by how much I've learned...and then forgotten... [giggle]
I'd seen this video by Dr. Berg previously. I liked it because it validated my decision to take nutritional supplements from organic, whole food sources as much as possible. I also thought it was interesting because of his discussion around the topic of co-factors.
Afterward I began reading the comments below the video. There was a good one by a poster named "Peto" from 3 years ago. It's maybe the 10th comment. I need to look further into this.
All I can say is that I take a vitamin C supplement that's made from organic, whole foods, but it's only 120 mg per capsule. When I tried three years ago to find a supplement that wasn't synthetic, there wasn't a lot to choose from, in part because I didn't want a vitamin C made from corn which is a GMO crop in the US. It wasn't easy. I need to learn more about this, also about high doses of vitamin C administered intravenously. This is new territory for me.
Interestingly, I crave citrus like you wouldn't believe. Lemons, limes, oranges. Might be the vitamin C, or it might be something else. Don't know.
