Viv's Modified Atkins Diet

I have been in a low carb diet since coming across this thread and the weight has dropped off and now off medication for my type 2. Doctor had a long chat with me today providing dietary advice and some good reads as i cycle a lot and exercise daily.

Also basically always go for the high fat yogs and milk etc as this ensures minimum sugar. Do not eat cereals ; etc and Doc also said to avoid sport gels during cycle rides and stick to roasted nuts in coconut oil and do not pre load carbs before or in recovery afterwards. If using milk only use the full fat milk and as a substitute for milk in tea Doc suggested I add butter and whisk in to emulsify it in the tea!!
