Type 2 Warts and corns...

This might be more than just T2.
I have five warts on my left hand. Am told by GP they are harmless and will go away... they don't seem to be. D's are not meant to use creams to remove same.

I have two corns, on the side of my right foot, next to my little toe. They are, at time, uncomfortable. I keep them well moisturised and my wife gives them a gentle defoliate every now and again.

I am wondering if anyone on the forum has any suggestions/experiences of removing warts and or corns.​
 
Morning hankjam. Have you seen a podiatrist/ chiropodist about your corns? If not perhaps this would be safer than self treating them????
 
NE Fife not too keen on making it easy to get hold podiatrist/chiropodists at the moment, so it has been some time since we've met and reviewed..... :banghead:
 
Probably better asking on a warts forum group ,you might get a more specific reply

Hi @bulkbiker as they say in these parts, Dundee, Once a D always a D, though being a follower of United I'm not sure my Dee chums would quite understand my position.
I had too many carbs last night, been caught in the snow too long and didn't manage to organise the evening meal too well... FBG this morning was 6.2, which is my highest by some way for about three years... just the meat and sauce in future..
 
Corns should be treated by a registered podiatrist who would enucleate them with a scalpel after removing any surface hard skin a simple and usually pain free procedure. I've had it done and have also done it many times.
 
@hankjam - My non-D OH recently saw the podiatrist at the local private health facility. His session was around £30. It might be worth it.

It's about the same as the podiatrist I go to they charge for initial consultation of $70.00 and a subsequent visit is $60.00. This is covered by private heath funds.

I have a government health care plan here and I get five free visits.

A GP I used to have a fair few years ago used to burn warts off with an electrical gadget, a continuous blue spark used to come out of it onto the wart.
