Type 1 Water

Will drinking water help keep blood sugar low. Thanks

Keeping hydrated is good but if you're Type 1 then I can't see it having any real effect as you'll be on insulin.

If I get a high sugar, I make sure to keep hydrated but I correct it with insulin.

Some people do say that drinking water when your blood sugar is high helps to bring it down but do not think just drinking it any time keeps it low

When your sugar levels are high you feel thirsty. This is because your blood has more glucose in and the kidneys want to filter it out in urine, which is why you drink more. It doesn't make your levels drop, you need insulin for that.
