Great to have you here with us, it is a wonderfully supportive thread. You are doing so well and I totally understand the food addiction problem, that is something I battle with as well.If I may humbly join this group it may help me.
I've always struggled with weight, basically because I addicted to food. I would think nothing of "shopping" for 3 hours just to look at food and plan meals.
Anyway, I am really doing it this time. On 01.91.2024 I was 260.2 pounds, which is nearly 20 lb lighter that 12 months ago.
Today, I am 252.8 lbs, 7.4 lb down in 5 days.
Well done to all lovers, those who didn't lose, do you know why?
Take care.
Alan.
Well done on losing anything at all over the holiday period, the food just seems to go on and on, so any loss is a bonus, I feel!Down a whopping .2! I'll take it and focus on what I need to work on.
Yes, a STS (stay the same) is a success at this time of year, it is so easy to put a load of weight on, so not gaining is fabulous!15st 12lb for me today - no loss, but no gain either and given our Christmas celebrations only ended yesterday I am happy. Last year I put on 10lb in the same period!!!

Commiserations MrsA2, it is so hard at this time of year, but yes, get back into thel ow carb way and your exercise and dance and you will lose it again!I can't remember what I was when I last posted here, but I'm now back up to a number I don't like. 10.10
Definitely the few carbs I had over Christmas have gone straight to my fat cells, and I thought I was being "relatively good"!
Hopefully with my exercise and dance classes starting up again, and back to stricter low carb I can get it shifted again
Awesome result! Welcome to this group, it’s a great motivator, checking in each week.If I may humbly join this group it may help me.

If you've been taking exercise it maybe your body is building muscle. Even if not, sometimes your body needs to stabilise to move forward. Either way, we'll done you.I stayed the same. No change....C'mon body, sort it out!
Wow, that is fantastic - I think the little stall may have been a nice break for your body and now it is willing to cooperate again! Your chart is so inspirational to look at!Now firmly back on the horse, afraid it all got a bit too much over Christmas, plus my two month stall didn't help with any resolve. So hopefully the stall has had a rude-awakening and my metabolism has kicked off losing weight again. I can only hope
Since last Friday I appear to have lost 1.6kg which is great inspiration after treading water for so long. Good luck everyone, have a great week.

Wow, that is fascinating (and encouraging), thank you Jennifer!Thank you @LeafyArts - there's lots of inspiration on this thread from some great success stories.
Saw this on FB, so not sure if it's an accurate analogy, but it's food for thought.

Congratulations on your loss @LeafyArts! I know what you mean about about too much too fast.Another Friday, another weigh-in!
How odd @aylalake you are fasting, but the body has hung on to 1kg weight, maybe the change has made it hold on to water and hopefully, if you persist, it will come off next week.
