Weight gain and insulin

Does anyone know the answer to this ? Is your body likely to gain weight if you are injecting more insulin ?

Hi. It's never the insulin that causes weight gain but the insulin enables the body to make full use of the carbs you eat and turn excess into fat. So weight gain when on insulin usually means you are eating too many carbs.
