I was diagnosed type 2 12 years ago and none alcoholic fatty liver disease 25 years ago.
I failed my annual HbA1c (63) this year and the last 3 years. I decided that it was time to change my diet and drop the evening snacks. My GP has elected to put me on SGLT2 inhibitors to help reduce my blood sugars. which I've been on for 4 weeks.
I've lost 7kg in the the last 7 weeks I'm now concerned I my be losing to much weight to quickly.
Is the rapid weight likely to increase my risk of Ketone acidosis?
