What do you miss from the 'Olden Days'?

Friends and family that have passed


Really loved my childhood and playing out in the summer months was a great time, my mother would say the only time she'd ever seen me was when I returned home hungry, the days were endless and life had very few stresses and strains.

When familys all lived near each other.
When families remained families through thick and thin and divorce was only for the rich and famous.
 

Or maybe banana split toffee They used to make a mint one and a chocolate one too

A real sense of community in society , neighbours really cared for each other , and the key was under the mat !!!!
 
Or the local swimming pool when young, then the Silver Blades Ice Rink in my teens.

Yay for swimming, but we had to go to another larger town to Ice skate, but wasn't that keen on Ice skating so I did save money on the train journey. sd, you have your older avatar back is it by popular request ?
