What happened to a thread?

The most common reason for a thread to disappear is either because
1) the author deleted it
2) mods deleted it for breaking rules
3) mods spam cleaned the member (in which case all their threads disappear)

I think it must be the last one, as a similar post was on the new posts page before the one from the RH forum
