Thanks, we need it as we have had the wettest autumn on record here in Queensland.I hope the weather stays friendly for you!
So pretty, and very satisfying to watch!
Is it cold in the Netherlands now?! I thought we were the only ones with a cold summer this yearit being currently 14 degrees Celsius in my living room and it hasn't been above 15 all day
It's definitely cold for the time of year here, everyone is complaining! (Well, they would no matter what the weather would be, complaining about the weather is our national hobby. Is it cold in the Netherlands now?! I thought we were the only ones with a cold summer this year
The bone must smell better than your cat's do.For lack of a thread called "What has your dog eaten today".
My neighbour and his teenage son have an interesting sense of humour, so tonight I found this in my bed, nicely hidden under the duvet!
It's bigger than the dogs but they still believe they can manage.
We have something of a running gag between us, my dogs go over to his place multiple times a day to inform him they need treats, neighbour chooses treats based on what's the worst I can find in my bed, because that's where my dogs usually eat or hide their treats.
High on the list are dried chicken feet and anything moist and unidentifyable.
The day before yesterday neighbour slaughtered a couple of male chickens for another neighbour, and I know he tried to get my dogs to run of with a chicken's head, but the dogs didn't want it.
So I guess he's trying to make up for that now!
O'm also pretty sure it wasn't the dogs carrying this one to my bed, neighbour (probably the younger one) must have put it in my bed when I was at the pool this morning.
He must have been so disappointed it took me all day to find it, I'm sure he hoped I'd come running out of the house to hit him on the head with it!
I must admit I jumped when pushing back the duvet just now, but he doesn't read the forum so he'll never know it worked!

Not a bad idea at all!So glad you have a sense of humour. I think I would still be inclined to hit him with it tomorrow morning!
I think if my neighbors had done something like that, my dog would soon have brought them something with a severed head. Even though you don't have a dog. I don't know if you know this fact, but people can't run faster than dogs, so it's necessary that your neighbor runs away not from you, but from your dogFor lack of a thread called "What has your dog eaten today".

No complaints from me though, I don't like hot weather at all.
I love tinned sardines on toast or not! The ones in tomato sauce are very tasty but I like them in oil or brine - it doesn't matter. What I do like is to make sardine and tomato spread (like the old fashioned pots of fish paste we used to get) using a tin of sardines and some tomato puree, blitzed in a food processor.I like sardines on toast, the ones that come in tomato sauce are best I find with a sprinkle of ground white pepper.
The pair in the cartoon would enjoy that as well.
This post reminds me of the scene in the film The Godfather. About something unpleasant found in bed. Not going to post a clip of the scene. Far too gruesome for our forum. I am sure many will have seen it, though. For lack of a thread called "What has your dog eaten today".

Yup, but posting it could be deemed to be in breach of rules, such as thisYou mean that bit with the horses head?
That is tame to what we see on the television news, movies, serials every day.
Don't be so sure. We caught our 2 kittens manoeuvring a whole baguette (the really long French bread) in through the cat flap one day. They managed even though it was bigger than they were. It hadn't just come from our garden either, but further afield. We never did find out where from.O'm also pretty sure it wasn't the dogs carrying this one to my bed
