Porridge for breakfast, something with salad for lunch, the other lamb leg steak for tea with some freezer vegetables. Believe it or not I still have two bags of runner beans from last year! I'm growing fewer this year.

Another hot day today but it's going to get cooler from now on apparently. We had a storm in the night, no overhead thunder but the lightning was quite intense, with lots of rain so I don't think I'll need to water the garden this morning.

Sill trying to avoid too much cooking so main meal will be a cheeseburger in a low carb roll with keto granola for breakfast although the scrambled eggs suggested by George are tempting and a salad for Lunch ? Question marks because we had a violent storm overnight which has battered all my salad vegetable plants they look very sorry to themselves today. I also sprayed tomato plants yesterday evening with a diluted oil and washing up liquid mix as black fly starting to appear on my toms! But it obviously got washed off by the deluge so another spray needed this evening when sun gone down.
@jpscloud agree no watering needed!
@Annb Hope you are feeling more comfortable today.

Thank you. On the up. 1779954272785.png

Breakfast: Avocado on RyVita. Tea - I've run out of coffee. Hoping Neil can get some today. The last few shopping trips have yielded none so my stock has run out.
2nd meal: more of the soup.
I may have a third meal - good though the soup is, it isn't very filling. Maybe sardines on RyVita, if I can be bothered by then.

Noo! It looks like we got off very light here, in comparison. Hope your plants recover quickly.

I'm making another huge slow cooker curry today, the chicken was already defrosted, so after today that will be several days' worth of meals!

I got a few bits and pieces done in the garden, and tomorrow should be much cooler so hoping for some really good progress. I'm re-sowing brussels sprouts, swede and cucumber, not because the plants I already grew are not good, but I think I'll need more for winter supplies. I'm trying new varieties as well so it'll be interesting to see how they all turn out.

It is 18C outside here. Just comfortable. Inside the car and the house it is about 22C and that is a bit much for us. As a result, I decided against soup and just had some RyVita and cottage cheese. Might have some soup if things cool towards evening.

they have perked up a bit well some of them. I'm just about to head into garden and sow some more salad seeds mainly lettuce but also radish and beetroot. I'm also going to spray again to try and discourage black fly. I have got marigolds planted in tomato pots but hasn't worked as it should!
Had granola for breakfast agreed to do scrambled eggs tomorrow when it should hopefully be a bit cooler.
@Annb your temps sound perfect.
