@jpscloud amazing veggies well done - loving the calendula flowers too. You must, quite rightly, be feeling very proud of what you're achieving with your crops. Lovely photos too - thank you for sharing them.
I'm really happy with the successes, but we shall not speak of the brassicas

Ok well let's speak of them a bit - I've really learned my lesson about covering them to exclude cabbage root fly, too late for the winter-long crops of swedes and sprouts I really wanted this year but I will have some.
I will have to get more nematodes to deal with caterpillars now - the usual cabbage whites are easy enough to relocate to nasturtiums, but this seems to be a very good (bad?) year for tiny diamondback moths, which have managed to lay their eggs on the brassicas through the insect mesh, and now the poor pathetic plants that had damaged root systems to start with are getting eaten away by tiny little caterpillars that I can't find!
The kalette plants seem to have got away with it though, they are looking pretty healthy. I sowed some kohlrabi today, there should be time to get a few of those before the end of autumn. I'm not sure I'll like them, but I'm hoping they will be nice in stews - I don't like the radish-like pepperyness of turnips but some people say kohlrabi are quite mild and sweet, more like broccoli stems (which I like) especially when cooked.
I forgot to mention
@shelley262 I think we have the same salad spinner - in one of your photos I think I recognise the green basket? It's my first time using one, and it's a complete game changer for me!
I had porridge for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and haven't had any tea - I had a late lunch and ate a bit more than I should have, so I'm not hungry. I might have some greek yoghurt with a few of the pink blueberries from my garden.
