Rainy day today so I have just got some house jobs done, not really making much of a dent in what needs doing but at least it's something!

Breakfast was a portion of crustless quiche, and tea was cooking bacon in cream cheese sauce with runner beans and a small potato. I have also been snacking today, not low carb

Rain for a few days apparently, so I will try to get on with house jobs again tomorrow.

Breakfast was some more of the crustless quiche and tea will be the second portion of bacon in cream cheese sauce, with carrot and swede mash and a potato.

Snacking continues to be a bit of a problem. I'm going out tomorrow to meet up with friends, but it will probably be a very light lunch this time.

Breakfast was the last of the haddock - fried yesterday and made into haddock mayo this morning. Perhaps should have put more salt into it, but I'm trying not to use much salt.

2nd meal will be more of the chicken that I cooked the day before yesterday.

EDIT: 14.25 - hungry so had some crackers with cheese a few minutes ago.

Realized I have been reading but not contributing much. I do enjoy checking in on everyone and appreciate the meal ideas too.
So, brealfast was two L/c blueberry mini muffins. I usually make a batch and freeze them as they make an easy, quick option when needed. Lunch was part of a baguette Parisien sandwich from a local charcuterie. A non low carb treat knowing I was going to be doing lots of walking afterwards so could adjust insulin accordingly. I’m now about to plant garlic cloves ready for next year harvest as we’re having frosty nights now so should be ok to plant them on this nice fall day. Gardening always reduces my blood sugar significantly. I must be a voracious gardener!
Dinner will be steak and salad of kale and kohlrabi both still coping well in the garden, seeds and a garlicky nutritional yeast dressing.

Good to hear about your garden, @MommaE! My black kale has been battered by storm winds, but the red russian kale is doing better. We must compare notes about garlic, I've planted some elephant garlic for the first time and also tried an experiment with some shop-bought regular garlic.

I had a lovely time yesterday but we just had coffee, and didn't bother eating. I ate a range of non-low-carb things when I got home, grazing all evening. I've also had a slight cold which is not really developing into anything major but has made me feel a bit rubbish, so I've defaulted to comfort food.

I will have some more crustless quiche for breakfast with a sausage or two maybe. I haven't made a Thai green curry for a while so might do that for tea.
