Yesterday.

Breakfast: Two cups of double decaffeinated espressos with cream and xylitol.

Lunch: Nothing.

Snack: A handful of almonds and one square of 85% chocolate.

Dinner: We were out at our favorite tapas place. Two glasses of rioja, two small lamp skewers and some slices of manchego cheese. Also brought along a home-made low carb roll to dip into the aioli.

Late night snack: A home-made low-carb roll with goat cream cheese and low-carb honey. The honey is actually quite good considering it has only 5g of carbs per 100g.

B: none
S: about 100ml of hot choc. The cafe at the end of the road has started doing tiddly little 'child portions' which suit me just fine. I mean, if i am going to sit there and watch Mr B slurp up a huge chai latte, then i get a small deliciousness too. Bg hit 8.6 for 10 mins, then back down to the 6s. Result! I think it was Cadbury's.
L: only trouble was, because it was on an empty stomach, the carb munchies struck. So I knocked those down with a single tiny gluten free slice of toast (9g carbs), with butter.
Yes, my life is a balancing act! Haha!
D: will be pulled pork and mashed cauli with parmesan, also the last of the green salad.

Since spotting it on Diet Doctor Chia Pudding has become my new addiction. It is so easy to make and there are so many possibilities with flavours.

Last night of mini-break and chilling out in hotel room catching up on everything. Have said it before, but fasting is so much easier on holiday. Just completed 4 consecutive 24 hour fasts without feeling hungry at all.

Saturday. On a day trip to Helsinki (have been holidaying in Tallinn). Just as well I was fasting given the price of food (and everything else). Had one meal which, to fit in with ferry schedules, was a cross between very late lunch and very early dinner. I'm calling it blinner:

- Ribeye steak with butter, creamed spinach. Resisted the bread they put on the table.

Today

Breakfast - none

Lunch - none

Dinner - another free one in the hotel lounge. Assorted cold meats and cheese, Greek salad with mayonnaise. Fasting obviously working well as 4.2 before eating and 4.3 two hours later.

Bf. Wedge of avo smashed on turkey slice with basal
Lunch chicken mayo wrap with sliced avo. 2 Big Macs ( macadamias haha. Silly auto correct )

Dinner. Still fighting a virus. Made a quick homemade soup last night that hit the spot. Again tonight. Now hubby wants some! Always honing in on my parade haha

Poured organic boxed broth in a sauce pan. Added kale and spinach microgreens, a bit of romaine lettuce, oregano, Sage and rosemary. Swirl of garlic oil and some homemade basal turkey meatballs crumbled. Heated until warm/ hot. Took off the heat, poured in a bowl and added chopped avocado. Delish and so quick. Bs was great even with this nasty virus !!
