I make a simple lentil soup that doesn't' spike me. 2 medium size carrots 1 and a half handfuls of lentils and half a veg stock cube. Chop the carrots into a pan add lentils and stock, a shake of black pepper and cover with boiling water 20 minutes simmer, blitz and hmmmmHi I have just had a Heinz lentil soup all 400 grams of it with Hi-lo brown toast ----OUCH. BS went from 6.3 to 11.4 in one hour. Its the soup.

D: I've sort of given up, because of the stress, it's making me depressed so couldn't be bothered to cook again today. So I had a Venison steak burger in two slices of toasted LivLife bread with cheese and tomato sauce. Like a burger in a bun, but without as much carby bread.
Keep trying to pick myself up, but can't at the moment. I will though.
It's a TBI thing, you can only cope with one thing at a time. So my D and everything else has been impossible to deal with.

Edit to include leek soup from freezer. Had a lot of pain today and painkillers kill my appetite too
