Oh dear, all the wrong things, but, bearing in mind what you had, I wouldn't be too disappointed with those results, and I'm sure you wouldn't be doing it every week! Beef in gravy was prob o.k. Hope you enjoyed the chicken balls though, I really miss those!Chicken chow mein, King prawn special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, prawn crackers, beef and onion in gravy, and spring roll.
I had 1/2 spring roll, 3 chicken balls with about 2 table spoons of the sweet and sour sauce, several prawn crackers, and a little bit of each of the others.
I was eating it thinking this is not a good idea.

Aww man, I feel for you, here's hoping you feel brighter soon, I got away with my fish cakes tea...8.2 which is exactly a 2mmol/L rise. Which takes my daily average to 6.28. Had major carb cravings today, and chocolate cravings yesterday, I think I will ask Santa for a padded cell for these times
what did you have? I found Chinese if you leave out dishes that are batter coated & rice, just stick to meat with black bean sauce etc, noodles, chow main etc are OK.On Saturday evening my dear daughter and son inlaw turned up with a Chinese meal as a thankyou for looking after there son.
I thought to myself don't think this is a good idea really, but didn't like to say anything.
7.03pm BG pre meal 5.8
2hrs later 9.03pm 7.5
Then at 10.43pm 9.9
In the morning by luck I was back to 5.6
I did contact my daughter and said I don't think my BG like me eating Chinese meal. So I hope she don't bring it round again.

Phase 2 of diabetes miracle is not going well.
I'm following the instructions to a T.
And my BG is annoyingly high.
Last night I had a great supper of mince stir fried with runner beans and mange touts, followed by 1 (10g carbs) pikelet thing. Toasted with butter and marmite.
YUM!
9.2 at 1 hr and 7.8 at 2 hours.
Bear in mind that for the whole of phase 1 I didn't rise above 7 at any time.
And I've only added an extra 5g carbs per meal
Not happy!
Today, I had a fasting BG of 8.5!!! (Usually around 6.5)
So today, I embarked on a series of investigations.
Breakfast, 10 g of wheat carbs = over 9 at 2 hrs
Elevenses, 10g of 70% choc = rise of less than 1
Lunch, 10 g wheat carbs = rise of 2.7
Snack 9bar = rise of 0.2
My lowest reading has been 6.1
Haven't seen a 5 since Sunday when I had my first 10g carb meal.
So, I think the main problem is the wheat. Will have to test other grains too. Seem to have MUCH better tolerance for carbs as choc, nuts and seeds, berries and similar.
This evening will be 10g potato carbs. Will report back.
Could you be experiencing a bit of enzyme lag? My way of describing how it takes a day or so for your body to catch up with additional enzymal requirements for additional carbs?
