To be honest, I have never felt any problems after my gall bladder was removed, nothing at all. I have low carbed in the past eating my normal fat and didn't have any issues with it, and I still don't, but as I said, I don't over do it in general, I keep it normal and I do eat mayo, olive oil and bacon. Once I get rid of carbs I don't find it that hard to feel satisfied, but as soon as I start eating them, I can't control them. Protein, vegs that's all good... carbs are my enemies though... no matter how much I love them...having no gall bladder must make a huge difference to your life...How do you manage the fat? Lactose milk is wonderful stuff...
It's so much better for your sinuses...
just what I was thinking! and somerfield for that matter......Lol! Do Safeways even exist anymore???
Sounds as though you very much have it all under control...I believe that carbs are the enemy of everyone, no matter their constitution... When you consider that most of us here control our BG simply with a low-carb diet, it must prove something, no? Mind you, I'm speaking as a life-long fat lover...To be honest, I have never felt any problems after my gall bladder was removed, nothing at all. I read it as "butternut squash" mashed, no comma after the 'squash'Is that potato mash? Can you eat it without spiking?
Doh.....I read it as "butternut squash" mashed, no comma after the 'squash'![]()
Don't like that....Gone up one point short of 3 from breakfast. One slice of fruit loaf that didn't spike me with 2 when I started loaf. Got splitting headache tho
Made it as my birthday "cake". Had a big mug of soya latte as possibly dehydrated from all the times I woke last nite and getting up late. NOT one of the flavoured ones this timeDon't like that....Fruit loaf's out then? I wouldn't have dared to eat it! I spiked on a couple of prunes once... I wonder if we react differently on different days? It gets tiring...
Hope your headache soon subsides.... I wake up with them sometimes... maybe the liver dump?
I'd just got back from short walk with dog so would have expected lesser spike. But I do think as you, e don't always, react the sameMade it as my birthday "cake".
