Breakfast: cornflakes.
Lunch: chicken and stuffing sandwich. Scotch egg.
Dinner. No dinner today...felt qyeasy and nauseous.

Have you thought of magnesium supplements? They are really good for constipation

B: oats marinated overnight in Greek yoghurt and a drizzle of cream with raspberries - still a bit rich for me but would be lovely as a dessert, so I'd welcome any suggestions for breakfast that is quickly and easy
L: 2 slices of ham, beef tomato, 2 radishes, cheese, small portion of cheese coleslaw
D: nothing as yet, can't decide what to have.
Snacks: sunflower seeds

Sorry to be indelicate, but is constipation a problem with lchf diet?

Breakfast 40g fruit and fibre with 2tbs double cream.

Pre BG fasting 5.7 Post BG 6.00

Lunch: King Prawns, lettuce, tomato, cucumber. Half Apple.

Need to try and up fibre as suffering with constipation Dr put on Fybogel which is not helping much at the moment been taking 1 twice a day since Wednesday.

Dinner. Salmon, cream cheese, avocado, lettuce, cucumber, tomato. Mangetout/sugarsnap peas

It can be during the first week or so. But that's why we say you must drink drink and drink even when you are not thirsty. Lchf makes your body burn fat. By product is keytones. To avoid headaches and constipation water is essential. Without it you won't lose as much weight either take it from one who found out the hard way..

Breakfast. Home made yoghurt and raspberries and chia seeds
Lunch chicken soup and a greek salad with lemon juice and olive oil dressing
Dinner small chicken and mushroom omlette

Mmm chicken soup. Roasting one for Sunday dinner so will make some next week I think. I used to make a lovely Chinese one with dropped egg and mushrooms. May try it again. Used to have a bit of cornflour in but I'm sure it would work without.

the pre breakfast number was the number i woke up at (before getting downstairs to get food - just out of bed) its happened many times that I'm in the early 3s high 2s and I don't know it till I test (i'll double test with another mater to make sure and 99% of the time its within the same zone number wise) I'm hypo unaware I don't tend to feel it until I get down to 2.5 / 2.3 area then its more along the lines of just feeling off I don't get disorientated until i'm in the high 1s anymore. Im actually still very functional when low, though the lower I get the more tunnel vision happens for what i'm doing (i become very task orientated that distractions don't happen - a few of my coworkers know to look out for that when we're working together but we also spend half out time out in the field on our own solo, so its something I have to be always testing for when out).

Have u tried them with romaine lettuce? It is crisper than iceburg - I make sandwiches with it!

yesterday:
B: creamy coffee
L: 9 bar
D: beefburger with kimchi, cheddar, broccoli and asparagus. and my new love, coyo (coconut yogurt, from Tescos. 0.5 carbs per pot, rich, creamy and divinely coconutty. and not cheap :()

Today:
B: bacon, sausage, egg and half a rather chewy hash brown. what a waste of a carb quota!
L: feta stuffed peppers with a pack of Piri Piri Fridge Raiders
D: will be chicken thighs in garlic butter, with whatever veg I scrabble together from the drawers at the bottom of the fridge ;) and another coconut yog - the raw chocolate one, this time. swoon.

It's in the 'free from' chiller section.
Our Tescos does 3 varieties, plain, raw choc and mango. The last two have about 5g carbs, per pot. The first has 0.5g. No added sugar.

@newtoallthis posted about it on the yoghurt thread. So of course (nosey busybody that I am) I had to find some and try it.
