Yesterday's food :)

B - bacon, Tomatoe, mushrooms and a poached egg
L - Omlette with mushrooms and a little cheese
D - beef minced stuffed peppers with cheese
S - pork scratchings and a few nuts

It must have been your other cat. Can't believe either of those two in your pic are killers. Just look at those wee innocent faces :angelic:

I suspect the one the front found it dead( our tenants bait) and thought he'd pass it off as his own handiwork. He's too lazy to actually kill anything thaat moves faster than a slug.

B: tinned tuna and salad
70 percent choc 1 square
2 spoonfuls of chia with 1/2 cup almond milk

L: KFC fried chicken with a bit of gravy and skin removed
Caesar salad without the croutons

D: wasn't hungry :)

Toed (our 6 toed inbred ex farm cat) was such a gaumless hunter that his biggest ever trophies were
  • A half-eaten cooked sausage
  • A road kill squirrel (we knew it was road kill because it had been flattened so many times it looked like a miniature tiger skin rug, complete with sticky out tongue)
  • A woolly hat
How he managed to live to 19 with so few brain cells remains a mystery.

Obviously he stuck to a low carb diet, and without cheat days.

Aww, bless! :-)

B: buttery scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, tablespoonful of tomato passata
L: whole baked mackerel by itself
D: chicken tagine (christened the Xmas present ceramic pot), spiced cauliflower, broccoli, spinach baked with cream & feta cheese yum
Dessert: still ploughing through the choc & coconut cheesecake I made before Xmas. Only 8 slices to go out of 16 ...

Happy NewYear all!!
Nothing to report food wise (still eating bad) but finally over chest / cough/ cold and BG returning to normality, back at work on Monday and looking forward to getting back into a regime again, hopefully will be back on the wagon.

An odd day today.
My hunger seems to have taken a day off.

B: scram eggs with salmon
L: in a real rush - ham slices between cheese slices. Very badly organised
S: real tea with milk, so I'll be awake half the night. Sigh.
D: pork steak with creamed garlic spinach (had forgotten about this, then saw someone mention creamed spinach on a thread, and now I am OBSESSED ) plus kimchi

Won't need anything else. Am stuffed.

My bg is fried today. Nothing to do with me, honest. Think I may have lung bugs giving me daft readings and a cough. So have stopped testing and am eating as well as possible.

B: buttery omelette with Quorn chorizo
L: leftover veg lasagne
D: Wensleydale and chive souffle omelette (oh my! First time...like eating a cloud!)

If I feel snacky later I will make kale chips (another new thing for me this week. Yum)

Yesterday:
B: usual berries yoghurt etc. Was out all day so I didn't have anything else til about 8pm
Two burgers with thinly sliced cheese on top and mushrooms sautéed in butter
Berries yoghurt etc for afters

Today: had my last lie in of the hols :-( and just three coffees with cream so far. Not very hungry today, but I will make sure I eat later. I'm also going to make some soup to take to work tomorrow

Breakfast Heck sausage, poached egg, mushrooms
lunch tuna salad with fridge clearing bits of pate and cheese
dinner pepper coated spatchcock poussin( seemed a good idea but it's higher in calories than I thought), beansprouts and mushroom stirfry, small portion curry sauce as larger lunch than usual so BS will be higher going into an early dinner as off out.

I have also made soup for the first day back tomorrow :( I am going to be so popular when I open my flask of questionable, stinky green soup :blackeye:

Brunch: two Quorn sausages, two fried eggs
Dinner: chickpea and mixed veg curry. Got pineapple jelly and banana whipped cream for later.

My mum convinced me that if I boiled an onion for an hour then drank the water, it would cure my cough. Tried it. She must really hate me :wideyed:

Just parking this here to remind me that I'm not doing a low cal day tomorrow as it's pub quiz night. Will do it Tuesday and Thursday this week.

B: bacon, egg, latte
L: cheese and chicken salad from deli round corner. Yum.
S: bag cheese onion popcorn 6g carbs
D: a nearly out of date tuna salad thing in a foil tray. Originally bought for Mr B, who didn't like them . So I, the human dustbin, am now taking out the 28g carb rubbish. ;)
I added mayo and more veg, and the BG is staying nicely controlled, 6.2 at 1 hr. :)

Took the kids to Mcdonalds and that was just torture to watch them eat and resist the food. Came back and had my dinner. Had a pre-meal reading of 3.7 and 2 hours after dinner it was 4.8. Had the craving so had a 9 bar and some olives.

I have 2 days to share:

SAT:
B: bacon and eggs
L: some almonds and a bit of cheese, then the insides of 2 dim sims (Melbourne pork / cabbage dumplings) ie meat no pastry.
D: Epic dinner out: starter of asparagus, rocket and mozzarella salad, main course trout with aubergine and a chilli-covered egg, big side order of brocolli with feta and red onion.
Late night snack: hungry jacks double cheeseburger but I didn't eat any bun.

SUN
Lunch (no breakfast): another epic meal out. Sharing plates of roast lamb, Italian sausage with peppers, mozzarella and tomato salad, prawns, salad with feta and red onion, wagyu beef bresaola, mussels. There was also calamari and chips and potatoes that I didn't eat.
Dinner: 3 sausages, tomato lettuce and feta salad.
