You reaaaaaallllyyyy have to love this letter... LOL I'm looking at buying at treadmill too (is the only positive arrangement you agreed on LOL). I have to say though... that my nurse is on our side (mostly...she mumbled something about coconut oil... but that was it) I can not imagine having to agree to eat low fat :s
It beggars belief, doesn't it? They'll prescribe meds for me which will help my body tolerate carbs, if I agree to eat more carbs! To be fair, this wasn't my DN who is excellent, but a dietician my GP referred me to as it was obvious when I spoke to him that he didn't have a clue about nutrition so he promised to speak to a dietician on my behalf (who it transpires is equally clueless about nutrition!)
I can recommend a treadmill. I got it because I do high impact workouts in the mornings, and don't really fancy walking the streets at the other end of the day when the evenings are still cold and dark. It's a gym model so takes up a bit of room, but time flies when I'm on it listening to music or watching TV.
I'm a fan of coconut oil and have gone back to having a teaspoon of it in my morning coffee and cooking with it.
