Makes me kinda glad I can't have the cheap instant stuff, so little taste in comparison AND rather sweet...

I use to drink a 'certain brand' of instant choc drink, that's back in the days when I use to think low fat and high carb was the only way forward! now that I know better and my tastebuds have changed so much, I would never touch those sachets of instant drink, they're made up with all sorts of rubbish!

Rose it's called Tiana and from Holland and Barrett. Not really butter but a jar of solid coconut.

B: Green tea n lemon. Bullet coffee. Veggie omellette.
L: Veggie Omellette
T: Salmon fishcakes with homemade tartare sauce and mixed veggies with spinach. Bar of 85% dark choc.
Snacks: Some veggie omellette and some pistachios, piece of cheese
Drinks: Water and sugar free ginger ale

I can't stand the Options type drinks, I think they are awful, in fact all of the instant hot chocolate type things are. Even worse when you buy one in a cafe and for £2 you are fobbed off with a discount wholesalers even cheaper chocolate drink. Urgh urgh urgh.

Hehe just realised I have become a senior from a regular!

well got up this morning and realised after all my birthday celebrations yesterday I hadnt prepared lunch for work -oops! No soup or breakfast balls left in freezer. This could be dangerous as quite often get carb cravings the day after i have drank alcohol.
Had my normall allbran for breakfast but couldnt offset the carbs with my normal boiled egg. Then late morning was starving (as expected) but instead of craving junk food like normal i was craving chicken yes chicken! What a result. Trotted down to Asda and bought a hot half roast chicken. Also got a small pot of raita they do in their indian section-used to love it, about 4g carbs but couldnt eat it all as it was too sweet! Wow don't our tastebuds change . Dinner was shepherds pie with cauli mash. Small bar of dark choc for later. Very good day! x

I've got a humongous tub of coconut oil... Use it in nearly everything... in smoothies, hot drinks, baking, frying ... I've got some in a separate jar to use as hair conditioner and body moisturiser ... Can you tell I love this stuff!!!

I'm the same with the solid coconut fat. I started using the dregs in the jar as a moisturiser on my feet. It's rather strange. I used to be famous for my smelly feet, now they smell rather like digestive biscuits!

Afternoon snack - 1 blood orange ('cos dietician said oranges were fine as long as they were eaten as a snack and not as a meal, so it must be okay.....) BS = 6.3

Me too. Though my mum gets something similar and there seems no rhyme or reason to it. I blame the Metformin myself as it started on that and I think it's just set it off. I had something like it as a kid and was of school for a few weeks as I couldn't bear clothes touching me. That was ok at 6 but not sure I'd get away running round naked these days.
