Tinned Mackerel in Oil on 2 slices of whole grain toast with a handful of plain unsalted cashews!

I am having braised steak with broccoli and cauliflower mash if I can find the receipe a good person on here sent me using microwave.

Just about to go and cook a stroganoff with chicken thighs mushrooms and bacon in creme fraiche. Will probably have some courgette spaghetti with it.

I'm just cooking salmon and new potatoes, and have a mixed salad with mayonnaise to go with it. I can get away with 80-100gm of new potatoes if I go for a walk afterwards.

Lamb tagine and side salad of watercress and spinach. The smell is epic.

2 sausages, 2 rashers bacon, 1 Birds Eye burger and a portion of low carb chocolate olive oil cake with cream.

Chinese chicken chow mein with lots of vegetables

Hubby is here tonight so had Philly steak with green beans and long stemmed broccoli and a few new potatoes

Home made meatballs!

And half a nine bar for afters

Had a salad for lunch!

Chicken with mushrooms, courgette, red and yellow peppers, onion and fahjitas spices served on Chinese leaf.

@Goonergal your chocolate olive oil cake sounds great! Please could you tell me where you found the recipe? Thank you

Low carb chicken masala for me, gave that broccoli, kale and seaweed steamed rice from Iceland a whirl. Was very nice and just under 12g carb. Even had 2 bags, mixed it all together, didn’t look that appealing compared to normal rice you would just dollop your sauce over but tasted lovely and was good for me and that’s what counts. Here’s to another lovely flat line meal. ;)

Blimey, you all eat early!

Mine will be 2 big grilled lamb loin chops, 2 small new potatoes smothered in butter, garden peas smothered in butter, and loads (and I mean loads) of sliced mushrooms fried in butter. A glass of red wine (already started) and a cup of tea for afters.

We have very rigid meal times due to my son being autistic and routine/rule bound - it's lunch at 12 dinner at 5 and supper at 10 (for him) it is a bit tying sometimes and he is flexible outside the house such as going out for dinner - in a way I like it as it helps with my control and my no snacking policy lol

Home made thai butternut squash soup with prawns, beanspouts, pak choi and shiritaki ( konjac) noodles

Rules and routines are good for us diabetics, I find the earlier I can get my dinner and insulin in the better. get nice and settled for bed then. ;)
