I completely understand the exercise boredom.
Tried so many different things over the years, including swimming, gym, yoga, kettlebells, a few dreadful exercise videos, and so on. But as
@helensaramay says, unless you enjoy it you won't keep it up.
Of course there are lots of different ways of enjoying. Some people enjoy the burn, or the glow, or the high. Not me. Every second I am 'exercising' is a second that I resent doing more interesting and stimulating stuff.
and as for getting off my backside of an evening to go to the gym... well the only way that is happening is if my home shower is out of action.
On the other hand... I love walking the dogs. In almost any weather. In fact they are more fair-weather walkers than I am! They have been known to refuse to leave the house on days I will happily go out. But then I suppose I have a raincoat. Anyway, even dog walking would pall if I didn't take the camera with me. Plus, it helps that they need the walk even more than I do. Dogs should be walked every day. For their health and sanity, so I exercise myself for them. Strong motivation.
Just think of a type of exercise you WANT to do, rather than something you know you SHOULD be doing.
Then do it.
