What Is The Best Time To Take Your Insulin

I take it twice a day.

Immediately after breakfast and dinner.

How about you?

I'm on basal/bolus so inject Novorapid insulin three times a day (before meals) and my lantus once in the evening.

Hi .
I am doing my shots of victoza with 1.2 units once daily.
[ after lunch ]
Also my porcine animal insulin shots are done, twice daily after lunch and after tea time .

Adjust my insulin dosages according to my meter readings .
As sometimes I will need a tweak here and there !

I do it after eating - as its harder to work out my unit needs pre-eating
