How weird this post came up just now because I've just this minute finished watching a DVD called 'Life As We Know It' ... if you've not seen it, it's about a man and a woman who hate each other on sight when their mutual friends, who are married, set them up on a date. The married couple die in a car crash and leave the guardianship of their 1 year old baby girl to the two friends who hate each other. They move into their friends house together to take care of baby and ... it all goes pear shaped ... he leaves ... she finds another man ... first man she hated comes back ... sees she's happy with second man so he leaves again ... second man sees she still has unfinished business with first man she hated ... so he leaves. She then picks up baby and visiting social worker and drives to airport to stop first man who she hates from flying to Phoenix. She gets there too late so drives herself, baby and crying social worker back home ... social worker exits ... woman and baby go into house ... and there he is ... first man who she hatED ... but now doesn't hate ... and they live happily ever after ... :D  :D  :D  :D

The title song was - 'All I Ever Needed Was You' ... and it was playing as the credits rolled up and the tears rolled down my cheeks and I just looked on here and saw this post ... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! sniff ... sniff ...

Another cinematic experience with rolling credits occurred for me after watching 25th Hour. Check it out for yourself

As people filed out of the cinema I stood fixed to the spot, having to experience this song I didn't know, and needed to know.
The Fuse by Bruce Springsteen. Seemed like a perfect ending to a thought-provoking film.
I also love his Nebraska album.

Hi All.
At the weekend I was looking around in a diabetes 'u.s.a' site and saw a 'u' tube
story on a young girl who had type1 diabetes.
On her story the music played was My Wish by rascall flatts.
Its being going round and round in my head since!!!!!
Driving me crackers
Have now had to order this cd as result...
Music can't half have a big impact on people :P

Anna, I'm a highly sensitive person, not just physically but emotionally. My sympathetic nervous system is so sensitive that I pick up other peoples feelings and sense atmospheres very quickly to the extent of being clairvoyant at times. I found music affected me a lot and it does make a big impact on people and I used to love listening to music but it can actually make me ill.

When my youngest son was in his teens we had Metallica roaring through the house and it made me sooooooooo depressed and he became depressed too. He was always dressed in black like a 'Goth', yet you wouldn't think he was depressed he seemed OK. But whenever he played that damned music he would start moping around and so would I. My other son was into rave and house and I was into classical with a bit of rock and disco thrown in and my ex played Spanish guitar. Honest to God, our combined mood swings were phenomenal and I've come to the conclusion that music is a very, very subtle means of communication and it's also a mind altering medium and that we should be very discerning not only about what we eat, but also what we listen to and what we watch. We 'ingest' a lot of things without realising it.

Nothing in particular at the moment but was watching a video on youtube last weekend of one of my favourite songs ever.....Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird.

Oh my god Defren you are my new best friend. I've loved Dommin since I saw them supporting Lacuna Coil a few years ago, and that was shortly before they released their debut album. Didn't know anyone else who liked them!

On another note, I just listened to this track - I'm a huge depeche mode fan!
